Hey guys, I hope you had a fantastic weekend.
Since you’ve apparently liked my recent post about budget-friendly
cosmetics so much, I thought I’d follow up on this topic and show you my new
nail polishes, which I’ve recently picked up at DM.
I’m assuming you guys are familiar with one of my all time favorite bloggers
out there, Emily Schuman from Cupcakes and Cashmere ,
because let’s face it, she’s really become a household name in the blog-sphere.
Emily’s posted a video, which she did for her collaboration with Estée Lauder,
recently in which she showed us her version of festive nails. I really liked
the basic idea, so I decided to try it myself, but in a distinctly less Christmas-y
way.
So what do think? I admit, there’s definitely room for improvement, but I
think it turned out fine for the first try.
Catrice 'Makes me Smile' € 2,49 / Essence 'black' ~€ 1,49 (something like that, I'm not sure anymore...) / Revlon Quick Dry Top Coat $ 5,75
Two coats of Catrice 'Makes me Smile' which looks either golden or silver, depending on the light and on coat of Essence's 'Black'. This quick dry top coat from Revlon is pure genius!! If you live in the States go and pick it up in case you haven't yet!! :)
Have a great Monday everyone!
xo Andrea
